The Hero's Shield — Hand-Wrapped Red Jasper Necklace

I didn't make this shape. The stone did.

This red jasper lived on my altar first, it sat in the middle of my own practice before it ever saw the tumbler. When I finally tumbled it, it came out a shield: that wide diamond a certain caped hero wears on his chest. All I did was touch it up, smooth the edges, and wrap it in silver-colored copper wire so it can be worn the way it deserves.

Red jasper is the warrior's stone: strength, courage, endurance. Not loud strength but the strength to stand your ground and keep going.

I don't often sell pieces off my altar. But this one's work with me is done, and it felt like time to send it out to someone new.

There is exactly one. It was mine. Now it's waiting to be yours.
